The all new GBE HD Motor MountThe purpose of this piece is not to make a strong motor mount, but to strengthen the fan case by spreading the stress among two points instead of one. That area of the fan case has a lot of stress on it and the stock cast aluminum case sometimes breaks right in that area. On a Baja your fan case is basically acting like part of the chassis, supporting the upper part of the bulkhead. If you have a DDM billet fan case then this GBE piece is not really necessary, but if you have a stock fan case then this piece is a must for you!
